The Story of Vạn Thủy Tú and the Legend of the Whale God Saving Fishermen

In the distance is Vạn Thủy Tú, built in 1762, dedicated to the legend of the Whale God (Cá Ông) who is believed to protect and save local fishermen. If you have the chance to watch the Fishermen Show next door, you’ll see the story of the Whale God come to life, featuring a 22-meter-long skeleton on the 2,000 m² water stage of the nearby theater.
